The coast brings a couple of things to plan around. Ocean breezes and the sound of the surf can carry music away, so amplification really helps. My solo violin packages include sound amplification for the violin, and the duo packages include a full sound setup with wireless mics for the couple and officiant, so your guests can hear both the music and your vows. To protect the instruments, I can't play in rain or high wind, so a sheltered spot or covered backup is a good idea for any beachside plan.
